The Systems Engineer shall perform detailed system engineering and will be directly involved in various system design and requirements generation/maintenance of legacy and emerging DoD software and hardware baselines.
Responsible for working with a highly functional team developing, integrating, testing, and deploying custom solutions to the client's hardware baselines and maintaining legacy and new versions of the system and its sub-systems.
Other responsibilities will include working with the team, including integrators, to define system requirements and effort estimates related to satisfying said requirements.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other business-related field, and 5 years of experience in a related discipline
Required Skills:Strong understanding of systems architectures, system design, employment of systems and dependent sub-systems, systems administration, and system networking
Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
Demonstrated ability to creatively solve technical problems
Background in requirements analysis, design, and coding methodologies, DoD software policies; and DoD test and evaluation requirements
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a small team
